_PROJECT GENESIS_
The original Burizu series is an ongoing project that covers themes anchored in street culture, fantasy and science fiction. What started as a simple passion project has grown into a cathartic form of artistic expression. The work evolved into a rich tapestry of manga-inspired characters each with their own distinct personality. After 4+ years, the series consists of 4 Chapters comprised of over 50+ unique artworks so far with various spinoffs.

The Illustrator
Kervin Brisseaux is an artist and creative director who partners with clients across a variety of industries. He has over 15+ years of experience developing creative solutions for some of the world’s biggest brands. His illustration style incorporates influences from fashion, music, anime and other facets of pop culture. He is a proud Haitian-American whose design background is rooted in eight years of architectural study.

The Beatmaker
Karl Brisseaux is a Haitian-American DJ and music producer. His DJ sets are deep, diverse explorations of music across genres and time periods. As a music producer, he draws upon his eclectic taste to create sounds that draw from elements of Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul and global rhythms from across the African diaspora. His debut record, Origin Story, was released in June 2021 in partnership with Bandcamp.
